The glass fiber filters are highly resistant to chemical attack and they are biologically inert. They are autoclavable and can be used up to 500°C for non-binder types of Glass fiber filters and Quartz filters can be used up to 1000°C. They can be stored indefinitely and is unaffected by humidity. Eleven grades of glass fiber filters are available in diameters from 21 – 150mm.
